In addition, there is continuous support, where frequent weather updates and emergency alerts are provided when a severe weather event is predicted or approaching the area. Telephone support is also included.
1B/ 15-Day Weather Trend: A weather trend forecast is provided 15 days in advance and then updated ~10 days before the period of interest and concerns an area.
1C/ Monthly estimate: Provided once, approximately on the 20th of the current month, and concerns the estimate for the following month over a wide area. The estimate may be provided earlier, with lower verification rates.
1D/ Seasonal estimate: Provided once, concerns the estimate for the next season over a wide area and is given to the interested party approximately 10 days before the start of the next season. The estimate may be provided earlier, with lower verification rates.
1E/ Route/Trip Weather Forecast with Continuous Support & Emergency Alerts : This applies to a trip including the return (aller-retour). A weather forecast is provided 5 days before the period of interest for a route, then updated 3 days before and then daily updates. The weather forecasts delivered to the interested party are derived from the data (e.g. precipitation amounts, wind speed, etc.) provided by the major forecast centers.
Since no forecast model or other meteorological service is perfect and sometimes there are deviations from reality, the possibility of an incorrect forecast must always be taken into account. Each person is responsible for their decisions and we are not responsible for any damage that may arise in the event of an incorrect forecast.
It is emphasized that the verification rates of a weather forecast begin to decrease mainly after 5 days.
